New website overview

We’re pleased to introduce NOWRA’s new website. We hope you find it to be a useful resource for you and your organization.  The new offers substantially more capabilities than the old website. This should make it easier for you to find information, promote your business, manage your NOWRA membership, and conduct business with the association. Over the next several months we will continue to add more content and more features to the website, but right  now, some of the new features of NOWRA’s new website include:

  • The ability to manage your own member record. You can now manage your membership information in real-time. When you log in, you control your contact information, the services you offer and other information about you, all in real time.
  • Control of your Septic Locator information. When you update your member record, that information is automatically updated in NOWRA’s Septic Locator. Potential customers can search for you by name, location (including zip code radius), services offered and more. And soon the Septic Locator will introduce a new, more consumer-friendly look, with more information to help educate customers about septic systems and a configuration which will help encourage more consumers to use this search tool.
  • Resource Library. Our goal is to make our “Resources” section one of your most valuable tools for finding information you can use.
  • Information by Professional Specialty. We’ve compiled links from a wide range of sources and organized them according to professional specialty. Whether your focus is engineering, design, installation, O&M, or regulation, you’ll find an extensive compilation of practical information to help you do your job.
  • Consumer information. There is a wealth of material available to help you educate your customers. We’ve tried to include some of the best information here.
  • Commercial and Community Wastewater. Lots of good references and guidance for this growing segment of the onsite wastewater industry.
  • Other sections: We’ve catalogued information from a wide range of sources on Financing, Technology, Policy, State-level information, Water Reuse, Sustainability, High-Strength Wastewater, Stormwater and Industry Data.

This site is a work in progress and some items may not operate as we intended. If you run into a problem or if you have questions about your login or other information, send an email to or call 800-966-2942.
