Scholarships for Emerging Professionals

The scholarship is intended to support the professional development of young and early career professionals in the onsite wastewater sector. Two outstanding candidates will be selected based on their career aspirations and commitment to the onsite sector.

Applicants must be enrolled at least part time in a trade school, university, or college while pursuing a degree or certification in a topic related to wastewater treatment and/or environmental policy and management. Applicants must be under 35 years of age or have less than 5 years of experience in the onsite wastewater field. 

Applications for the 2025 Scholarships are now open. The deadline for applications is 11:59 PM Eastern Time, August 15, 2025.

Winners will be announced at the 2025 Mega-Conference in Sandusky, Ohio, October 19-22, 2025. In person attendance at the conference is not required, but is strongly encouraged.
