NOWRA Supports Funding of USDA Decentralized Water Systems Grant program
NOWRA and many of our state affiliates signed on to a joint letter to Congress supporting the funding of USDA's Decentralized Water Systems Grant program. The USDA program has a record of success in supporting grants of up to $15,000 to low- and moderate-income household in rural areas for maintaining residential water systems. This program has received $5 million in funding for FY’21 and FY’22. The request for fiscal year 2023 is to fund the program at the full $20 million authorized level.

Suchecki Awarded 2021 Richard J. Otis Industry Achievement
The 2021 Richard J. Otis Industry Achievement Award was given posthumously to Ronald J. Suchecki, Jr. at the 2021 Onsite Wastewater Mega-Conference in his home state of Texas.
